Writer's Block

Ben Roberts

Writer's Block is when an author struggles for new material or experiences a creative slow down.

What was once normal habit has become tougher.

We will all have moments in our careers when we feel we have a hit a wall and let doubt consume us. Then the spiral continues as we start to worry more and the problem becomes bigger and we lose confidence.

How we tackle it is how we solve it. We have to back ourselves during the challenging times, suffer a little and go back to basics. Instead of worrying about the problem we should forget about it and focus on our self belief. Our skills and enthusiasm are what got ourselves here in the first place so we should stick to the positives and  not cower to self doubt.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

And we should do what writer's do when they hit the wall.

Start with a fresh piece of blank paper.
