He has been a drummer in one of the most influential bands of the grunge scene, Nirvana. He is so talented he became the lead singer of the Foo Fighters, which are still filling stadiums more than 20 years after they were formed.
He has surprised fans by playing in their garages. He donates to many charities. He broke his leg performing and completed the show not wanting to let his fans down. A man with a generosity of spirit yet someone who is a family man and understands that being a celebrity comes with its pitfalls as well as the glamour.
What he loves is being a normal guy and people love him for it.
Last week he was in the mosh pit at a Metallica concert. This week he had Rick Astley perform ‘Never gonna give you up’ with the Foo Fighters in Japan.
