How a 6.5 billion dollar business was created.

 A global phenomenon created in 1974 was a just a lovable character. 

Then the growth and potential was realised.

 From planes to dumplings to toys and theme parks and everything else is between about Hello Kitty is kawaii. Which is Japanese for cute. 

 She brings a smile to the face to even the most serious of people. 

 As we all know Hello Kitty is a cat with a human attributes, although she is based on the local Japanese cat, the bobtail, she has no mouth yet is always cheerful and helpful and wears a bow tie constantly. 

Her only purpose is to be adorable. 

 And that as you can see her by her empire is certainly effective.
