Radiators and Drains

Ben Roberts

Isn't it wonderful when someone walks into a room with energy, passion and enthusiasm. Suddenly the room lights up, ideas flow. A group thrives because of one person and the energy and passion they bring help ideas and solutions come together. They are a radiator.

How about the person who gripes, complains, negatively responds to anything asked and sulks when things don't go their way. They bring the room down, the work suffers. They are a drain.

I know who I prefer to work with.

Wouldn't you rather be warm than drowning in the wet.

How have experiences like this have affected you in times? And how were they resolved.
