Something I am not going to discuss is everyone's political views as everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
What I will say is Politics as a profession doesn't attract the brightest and the best talent. Those involved these days seem to be ego driven and only power hungry and will stab whoever it needs to be in the back.
I think politics needs to be reframed and return to it's purpose of representing the best interest of a nation not serve the egos of career politicians who change their views quicker than the wind changes. Everyone seems to have opinions on politics on social media daily and the news sources are filled with it.
Sure it's content and stokes opinion but the real purpose which most have forgotten is that Politicians are supposed to lead and inspire their countries not divide and raise their profile to what suits them. A huge lack of purpose. And a huge change needed as no one can predict the future but what I can say unless leaders get stronger it will be tougher.
So how do we attract the leaders of the future to become politicians and leaders?
