Creativity

Life is the heart of the rainbow

Ben Roberts

Yesterday I went to see an exhibition of the legendary, influential, Japanese Artist, Yayoi Kusama. I don’t know how you can you describe her.

Born in 1929 in Japan, she has been an artist, a writer, influencer to Andy Warhol, sculptor, a key voice in the avant garde world.

Even in 2015 Artsy named her one of the top 10 Living artists of 2015, at the age of 82!! The key to her success apart, from being amazing talented and supremely creative, is her ability to transform and adapt with the times and then stay one step ahead of them. Our world moves at a faster pace than ever before and the word transformation seems to be most used key word in business for the last ten years. Yet do we know what we want to transform too?

Keep your eyes open, look around the world that surrounds you and that’s what will give you ideas for the solutions to your problems or ideas for the future. Don’t stick to the known and familiar.

Take a chance.

If an 87 year old Japanese woman can still inspire people from generation to generation, surely you can make have an impact in your own way.

How do you search for new ideas? Who are people that influence you?
