Instead of Fighting Fear use it as a Tool

Ben Roberts

A study has shown that psychological profiles of people who participate in high risk sports have a condition called alexithymia.

This means they have difficulty in expressing and feeling emotions so unable to connect with their daily lives, they climb high, surf big waves, leap out of planes.

They do this to conquer the primal sensation of fear. They use fear as a tool to help connect themselves with the world around them.

We all have our own fears, some we can control and some we can't. Those we can control, we should face them front on and try to own them and not let them own us.

The human mind is a powerful tool and it's only in the darkest places that it's full brightness can be lit.

Try to overcome your fears and your world becomes a happier place.
