Finding a new job

Ben Roberts

Maybe you aren't satisfied in your current one, maybe there isn't enough growth or perhaps unfortunately you got made redundant.

Finding a new job can be difficult and in order to do so you need to be the one taking control. Laser focus on yourself is needed. Sure, connect with recruiters and sit back and wait and see.

Being proactive helps you develop relationships and build connections and opportunities that recruiters would never have heard of. Make sure your cv is up to scratch, build a website if possible. People are much more visual these days.

Identify who you want to work for and connect with them on LinkedIn and you may just get lucky. It might be draining but do it positively and consider it building yourself a personal brand, you might just end up with the perfect job.

Good luck to those looking right now.
