Create a Culture of Curiosity

Ben Roberts

Curiosity is one of life’s great gifts, it helps you gain more knowledge, understanding, empathy and improves your memory.

The more curious you are about something, the easier that you remember something.

Learning something with an emotional element is more successful than trying to remember something you weren’t emotionally invested in.

Probably explains why you can remember things about stuff you heard on podcasts or read as opposed to things you studied when you were younger and had no interest in.

Curiosity starts with question asking so the more questions you ask the closer you will get to the answers you seek.

Stimulate curiosity at work and create a culture where questions, no matter how they stupid they sound, are welcomed. It helps motivate to engage.

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but satisfaction bought it back.
