Today marks the first anniversary of Brexit. June 23, 2016 when I watched,stunned by the decision and the ensuing fallout of leadership and blame game.
The first of many surprise political decisions last year. And a year on where are we? Still confused. Still uncertain.
What I will say that using the name Brexit was an excellent use for the referendum of branding as it immediately gave the answer in it’s title. Unfortunately it was negative and their campaign was false.
The name did spawn a new culture of adding thing ‘exit’ or something similar to many words.
I live in hope that Britain somehow manages to stay part of the European Community. More than ever, people need the freedom to travel freely, experience new vibrant cultures and the beauty of other countries.
Stay together, win together.
Not my favourite first anniversary I have had. At least it fell on a Friday! Happy weekend everyone.
