 Often what is not said is more important than what is said. 

Understanding the implications of reading the between the lines can help guide and set the agenda for the future conversations and actions. Watch people's body language and how they interact with you and you may get a finer understanding of what they are looking for.

 Don't give people what they want, give them what they need. 

And the answer to that you will find, is between the lines.
